Support the Opach Family After Fire Loss

I can’t believe I would ever be in a position to have to write something as horrific as this tragic story, but it’s with a heavy heart I must announce that a close, long-time friend of mine and her parents have suffered an unimaginable loss due to an electrical fire that ravaged their home of 26 years on 12/04/24, leaving nothing behind.

This fire resulted in complete destruction of everything inside, including the loss of all their cherished mementos, sentimental photographs, and irreplaceable family heirlooms from Poland; in addition to being without daily basic necessities.

This situation is exacerbated by the fact that her parents are retired, reliant on a fixed income, and are facing considerable expenses at this time. Unfortunately, they are forced to pay out of pocket for hotel accommodations while they try to regroup from this traumatizing and life changing event.

I can’t imagine living through a devastating loss like this let alone right before Christmas. As we all gather with loved ones, the Opach family will be attempting to have holiday cheer after experiencing this tragedy, displaced from everything they know. They are in need of our community to help in any way you can.
