In Loving Memory of Emmanuel--Supporting the Onyeneho Family

Donation protected
From the Onyeneho family:
Our family is heartbroken.
Emmanuel, a loving son, brother and cousin, tragically lost his life in a devastating car accident while driving with his younger sister back from college after moving out for the year. While she is currently recovering from her injuries, we are left to mourn the sudden and painful loss of Emmanuel.

Emmanuel had a calm, gentle spirit. He was soft-spoken, yet full of heart. He always showed up for his loved ones and quietly carried the weight of responsibility. Though his life was marked by hardship and personal loss, Emmanuel remained steady and kind, always devoted to his family. He faced adversity with quiet strength and unwavering love.

He was an active, vibrant young man who lived life to the fullest. Emmanuel loved being on the move. Whether he was playing basketball, attending concerts, or spending time with friends, he found joy in staying connected and embracing every moment. His energy and passion for life left a lasting impact on everyone who knew him.

Emmanuel is survived by his father and his two younger sisters, and we are now navigating this unimaginable loss with immense grief.

Thank you for your compassion, your prayers, and your support during this time.

From Leah Okimoto, Executive Director of Aaron's Presents:
Emilia and Maureen Onyeneho have been part of Aaron's Presents, the youth organization that helps kids help others in the community, since the start of high school. They and their extended family are so important to us, and we are shocked and devastated by this tragedy and the loss of the brother they loved so deeply. To experience this kind of loss just as they all embark on adulthood is overwhelming to process.

This fund will be used to cover Emmanuel’s funeral expenses and support the Onyeneho family during this time of emotional and financial hardship. Maureen lost most of her personal possessions in the accident since she had just moved out of her college dorm.

Any contribution will help ease the burden and remind this family that they are not alone.

If you prefer alternate ways to help:

I will send the funds directly to Emilia, who just graduated from college. She has set up a new bank account solely for these donations.

Thank you.
