We’re the Odysseus Outlaws, an all-women team of 4 STEM students from Florida Tech competing in the 2024 Red Bull Flugtag in Tampa! Our team is made up of 3 mechanical engineers, 1 aerospace engineer, and 1 aeronautical science major (pilot), and together we’ve designed a Greek mythology-inspired craft called Revenge of the Titan—a Trojan horse ready to soar!

For those who don’t know, Flugtag is a unique and exciting competition where teams from all over design and build human-powered flying machines, then launch them off a platform over the water to see how far (or how hilariously) they can fly! It’s a mix of creativity, engineering, and pure fun—and we’re thrilled to be part of it.

This experience is more than just fun; it’s about pushing boundaries, showcasing our skills, and proving what women in STEM can accomplish. We’ve put in countless hours designing, building, and preparing, and now we need your support to help cover the costs of materials, transportation, and travel to Tampa for the big day!

Any contribution will help us bring our vision to life and represent women in STEM on a grand stage. Plus, your support will go toward an unforgettable event where creativity, engineering, and aviation come together.
