Howdy! My name is Chase Morrison, and I am a young composer currently studying music at TCU. I am raising funds towards the inaugural concert of the NuovoSound Ensemble, a chamber music ensemble I founded in the summer of 2025.

The mission of the NuovoSound Ensemble is to cherish works by living composers, and in an industry flooded with immense competition, we seek to provide free opportunities for young and underrepresented composers and musicians to get experience and exposure. Our vision is to encourage all types of music and be open to new ideas and thoughts, with the goal of bringing the music of today to the forefront of discussion.

For our inaugural concert this November, we are presenting a program consisting of works from emerging composers in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, works from influential international composers, and arrangements of beloved modern film scores like La La Land and Ratatouille. Through this concert, our goal is to provide a free musical experience that students, families, and individuals from all backgrounds can enjoy. Funds raised (all proceeds) will go entirely towards supporting our musicians and strengthening the foundation of our organization in its early stages.

We believe we are creating something truly special and impactful not only for the DFW music community, but also music culture as a whole, but we cannot succeed in our efforts without the generous backing of supporters. Donors will be publicly recognized at our November 20th inaugural concert, unless they would like their donations to be anonymous.
