Food and Medical Aid for South Sudan - Fundraiser

Ballarat Regional Multicultural Council (BRMC) is standing in solidarity with the Nuer community in Ballarat as they grieve the tragic loss of loved ones in South Sudan. In March 2025, incendiary bombs were dropped on villages in Upper Nile State, killing dozens of innocent civilians including children and displacing entire communities. Homes, clinics, markets, and vital infrastructure were reduced to ashes. Survivors are left with life-altering injuries, trauma, and loss. To support affected families back in their homeland, the Nuer community here in Ballarat is launching a fundraiser. Funds will go towards food and medical emergency relief.
