Dear Friends and Family,

As many of you know, for the past 14 years we have been serving at Chengelo School in Zambia. It has been a huge privilege to live and work in this amazing community, and we are so thankful for how God has shaped our family through this season.

Now, we believe God is leading us into a time of rest, renewal, and seeking Him afresh. After much prayer, we have decided to take part in the YWAM Family & All Generations Discipleship Training School (DTS) in Matamata, New Zealand, starting in February 2026.

This will be a unique opportunity for all five of us to step away from our normal routines, grow together as a family, and be spiritually refreshed. Our hope is to come out of this time renewed, encouraged, and better equipped for the purposes God has for our lives—both individually and as a family.

To take this step of faith, we need to raise around £28,000. The DTS has two parts: a three-month lecture phase, where we will study God’s Word together and be discipled as a family, and a two-month outreach phase, where we will go out (to New Zealand, Australia, or the South Pacific) to share the gospel and serve others. This total amount will cover tuition, accommodation, flights, travel, and living expenses for the full five months of the program. It feels like a big number, but we know God has always been faithful to provide—and often through the generosity and encouragement of those who know us.
