Help the Norman-Picco kids After House Fire
Donation protected
On Sunday August 6, 2023, my brother-in-law and his partner were woken up to one of the most terrifying and stressful situations a parent can find themselves in.
They got the news that there had been a fire at their house and everything was gone. Thank god, there were no injuries and everyone was safe. Only the 16 year old and her boyfriend were in the home, and they got out unharmed. Again, thank god.
But they've lost everything.
Steve and Krissy have worked so hard over the last few years to turn their lives around and create a loving home for their blended family. They've created a space where the kids feel safe and loved. They've opened their home to extended family, even when they didn't have to.
While they work out insurance details and what happens next, I want to take one worry off of their plates. Back to School is just around the corner and the kids only have the clothes on their backs and whatever they had packed for their weekend in town. I'm hoping to raise enough money to get the kids (Grades 4, 7, 10, and 12) situated for September - school supplies, sneakers, clothing, bookbags, etc. They need everything. They're starting from scratch.
Anything above what the kids need for back to school will go towards rebuilding the kids' lives post-fire.
These kids have had more challenges thrown at them over the course of their lives to make our own struggles seem like a dream. I want to make this as easy and worry-free for them as we can.
