It’s with heavy hearts that we share that our friends, the Nix family, are facing an incredibly difficult season, and we wanted to share what’s happening so those who know and care about them can keep them close in their thoughts. Sean was recently diagnosed with stage 3 cancer and has started aggressive treatment that will continue through the end of 2026, at which time surgery and additional treatment may be needed. Because of the physical demands of his job, his ability to work will be severely limited during the course of his treatment. Jessi will also be temporarily stepping back from Elevate Sports to care for Sean and support their two children—Logan, age 9, who has special needs, and Cora, age 7.
