Support the next trip for students!

Hi! I'm Charlotte, and I recently had the absolute privilege of taking part in a program in Bali with my college, through the Turing Scheme!
It was honestly the opportunity of a lifetime. I’m insanely grateful for everything I’ve experienced. Over the course of two unforgettable weeks, I pushed myself beyond what I ever thought I was capable of. I learned so much about myself, about others, about some amazing businesses and their commitment to Bali, and about how powerful it is to step outside your comfort zone.
This opportunity was funded through the Turing Scheme, a UK government initiative that supports educational and cultural exchange around the world. It enables students (especially those from disadvantaged backgrounds) to access life-changing global experiences that build confidence, develop key employability skills, and foster a deeper understanding of different cultures. It's a program that truly believes in equal access to the world, and I'm so lucky to have been part of it.
Me and my classmates are setting up this fundraiser to help fund more trips for adult learners, students who come from disadvantaged backgrounds, live with health conditions, or haven’t had the same opportunities for life experience while studying. We want to help open the door for next year’s students who may not have the financial means to take part in such an incredible opportunity.
Every donation goes directly towards making these once-in-a-lifetime, educational experiences more accessible. The Turing Scheme doesn’t just provide the chance to travel, it builds employability, develops real-world skills, boosts confidence, and gives students the chance to learn about other cultures in the most inspiring way possible.
Whether it’s supporting community projects, learning from local leaders, or just discovering your own strength in a totally new environment, the Turing Scheme changes lives. It certainly changed mine.
Thank you so much for reading, sharing, or donating!
