As Salamu aleikum, with the help of ALLAH and your generous donations, we were finally able to open the New Masjid in Gambia and have the first Jumah. Now we need your help again to make the building fully operational. We were able to open the Masjid; however, critical items need immediate attention. We are in urgent need of:
- The two solars are not strong enough to give light. The next-door neighbor provided light on the day of the opening: need another battery and extra solar panels.
- Concrete and tiling to increase floor/sitting space outside the masjid for Fridays and classes: need tiles, cement, gravel.
- Fix the generator for supplying water to the tank; it's not working properly, or buy a better one.
- Fees for transferring the solar panel on top of the masjid to have better services.
- Complete the roof of the room on top of the ceiling to stop the hallway from getting wet when it rains and make stucco & paint it: need cement, wood, paint, etc.
- Finish up the steps: need cement, etc.
We know we have already reached out to you many times, but we are again appealing for your generosity to finish making this beautiful house of ALLAH.
