More than a year has passed since Anwar Nassar and her family’s lives were forever changed by the devastating war in Palestine. The ongoing attacks, destruction, and massacres have left them in a constant state of uncertainty and suffering.

The Nassar family’s home in the north was bombed, reducing it to rubble. They lost everything. In search of safety, they moved to the southern Gaza Strip, specifically Deir al-Balah, where they now live in a house that is barely habitable—lacking basic necessities like doors and windows.

Anwar cares for her elderly and severely ill parents. Her father has been diagnosed with cancer and urgently needs treatment. Due to the lack of medical resources in Gaza, he cannot receive the necessary treatment and needs to travel outside of Gaza to access proper care. Furthermore, her brother sustained a head injury from a bomb explosion and requires costly surgery. He needs continuous medical attention and urgent follow-up care.

The family’s situation continues to worsen daily. The cost of living is astronomical, with even small spaces for rent costing $1000 per month, a price the Nassar family cannot afford.

Basic necessities such as food are either unavailable or unaffordable, while poor sanitation, severe pollution, and contaminated water supplies are spreading diseases rapidly. The Nassar family’s health is deteriorating from malnutrition, weakened immunity, and a lack of medicine.

They are in urgent need of support. Their situation is dire, and without assistance, their survival is at risk. We are asking for your help to support this family of 10 as they fight to survive and rebuild their lives amidst unimaginable hardship.
