Hi Everyone,
The shutdown continues to affect small businesses and their employees throughout New Jersey, including our business, The Music Man, at the Jersey Shore. It has impacted our opening schedule and is preventing our summer cast to show our amazing customers what they have called a tradition since 2003.
We are so excited for you to meet our new staff and really wanted to do something to help them during this waiting period. We created a “Cast Quaranteam" since the beginning of May. They rehearse daily to be ready when we open our doors and embrace the smiles and love that we've grown accustomed to each summer. We already love each of them. Their commitment to The Music Man summer experience has amazed us!
The “Hello” video and “GoFundMe” idea grew out of a simple conversation with a long time customer, who has been amazingly generous throughout the years, encouraging our performers to "keep going and to follow their musical dreams."
All money raised through this effort will be divided, evenly among our current cast members.
Please consider making a contribution, if you are in a position to do so. We’re sure all the young members of the cast would be very appreciative!
Hopefully soon, we can sing, dance and shout for our ice cream together and enjoy a show at The Music Man Singing Ice Cream Shoppe!
