The White Coat Ceremony is a milestone in every healthcare student’s journey, a moment that symbolizes compassion, dedication, and the responsibility of caring for others. For the MUSC Occupational Therapy Doctorate Class of 2027, this tradition marks our transition from the classroom to the clinic as we prepare to serve patients and families with skill and heart.
Our class of 61 students is raising funds to cover the cost of our white coats. Our fundraising goal is $3,500 which will ensure that every student can proudly take part in this tradition without the added financial burden. If we are fortunate enough to exceed our coat costs, additional funds will help support a small reception to celebrate this special day with our loved ones!
By donating, you are not just providing a coat. You are giving an OTD student a tangible reminder of the commitment we have made to serve others with compassion and integrity. Every gift, big or small, helps us step into this moment with pride and gratitude.
Thank you for supporting the future of occupational therapy and celebrating this milestone with us!
With gratitude,
The MUSC OTD Class of 2027
