Support the Murphy Family in Their Time of Loss
Donation protected
Late last week, the Murphy family suffered an unexpected and heartbreaking loss. Their father Kevin, passed away suddenly leaving behind my husband Conor, and his daughters Halee, Kylee, and Rebecca to navigate the overwhelming responsibility of honoring him while grappling with the shock and grief of his passing.
For those who knew Kevin, you knew him as a man full of light and laughter, always ready to crack a joke to ease any situation. Above all, Kevin loved his children deeply and showed that love in countless ways, whether it was by offering the shirt off his back or supporting their every endeavor. He had his own struggles, battling mental health issues for most of his life, but his positive spirit and kind heart always shone through.
Throughout his children's lives, Kevin was their biggest cheerleader. He coached many soccer teams, and there wasn’t a game he would miss. Whether it was gymnastics, softball, baseball, basketball, or soccer—his favorite—Kevin was always there, either in the stands or cheering from home if he couldn’t make it. He made sure to watch Kylee’s collegiate soccer games on TV if he couldn’t be there in person, and he also found joy in watching hockey, especially Boston Bruins games.
The pain of losing Kevin has been unimaginable for his children. They’ve been thrust into a reality no one should face, especially at such a young age. At just 56 years old, Kevin leaves behind a legacy of love, humor, and devotion, having lived in Dublin, Ireland and Haverhill, Massachusetts.
In light of this sudden loss, I’ve created this fundraiser to help ease the financial burden of the upcoming services. I want Conor, Kylee, Halee, Rebecca and their mother Annmarie to be able to honor Kevin without the added weight of financial stress. Any contribution, no matter how small, would mean the world to us.
Thank you for taking the time to read this, and for keeping my family in your thoughts and prayers as they navigate this incredibly difficult time. Your support, love, and kindness are deeply appreciated.
