DBN For All Support the Mount Street refugees

This GoFundMe has been set up by the Dublin Bay North for All group to support the Mount Street International Protection Applicants. As many will know the men living in tents beside the International Protection Office on Mount Street were moved on the understanding they would be given a proper bed. They were actually moved to a location outside the city - cut off from what little support they had - and offered more tents and left with unsanitary conditions.

Many of the men have made their way back to Mount Street but now have no tents, sleeping bags or basic necessities as these were destroyed. We are aiming to raise a small amount of money to help buy tents, sleeping bags and other necessities. Evidence of receipts will be posted here for transparency and all money will be used for said purpose. Any donation - no matter how small - is welcome. This St Patrick’s Day let’s show the real Irish spirit of welcome, warmth and generosity.

If for any reason there is money left over it will be donated to the Movement of Asylum Seekers Ireland and the Muslim Sisters of Eire who provide on street food and support to the homeless.
