On December 27, the Mortensen family experienced an unimaginable tragedy when a fire destroyed their home, taking everything they owned.

While we are incredibly thankful that the family is safe, they suffered heartbreaking losses. Their beloved dog Lola and two kittens did not survive the fire, and their dog Walter is currently in critical care, fighting for his life.

In a single moment, the Mortensons lost their home, their belongings, and cherished members of their family. They are now facing the overwhelming task of rebuilding from nothing—emotionally and financially.
