On September 10, the Moore Setola family experienced a devastating loss that no family should ever have to endure

Heather Moore and her brother, Joe Bumgarner, were killed. Two other family members were also shot and remain in critical condition. Scott was at work when this tragedy occurred.

In a single moment, their family was forever changed.

Anyone who knows Heather, Scott, and their blended family knows how much love, laughter, and warmth filled their home. There was always something bringing everyone together, whether it was a game night around the table, an evening around the fire pit listening to an eclectic range of music, or an outdoor movie night with a projector lighting up the yard. Their home was a place where people felt welcome, connected, and loved.

Heather was so full of life. She was a beautiful soul who laughed hard, loved deeply, and brought warmth into every room she entered. She loved her family fiercely and made the people around her feel special. Her laughter, kindness, and the way she loved those closest to her will never be forgotten.

It is impossible to understand how something so horrific could happen to a family who shared so much love and joy. While they are grieving and fighting for their loved ones, they are also facing enormous practical and financial burdens they never could have imagined.

We are creating this fundraiser as close friends of the family to help Scott and the children through what lies ahead. Donations will help with:
