Support The Montes Family

Hi there, as some of you know, our family in the Philippines are recovering from a tragedy that occurred on January 4th, 2023.

Their beloved home was engulfed in a fire that took place early dawn. It has affected 3 families and claimed the life of 14 year old, Laurence. The homes are now deemed uninhabitable, leaving some family members without a place to call home. The main home that we all called “The Bungalow” was of great significance to our entire family. This home was a haven to the Montes family through the Living Rock Church Ministries from early days of the ministry until now. The ways that the bungalow has served our family, housed many in need, been a home to missionaries as they came to serve, and been a place of great fellowship through the years is just a glimpse of what a blessing it had been. God truly gave the Montes family a place of refuge from the outside world. Now that home is unrecognisable. We are all still in shock to see such a tragedy take place, especially that it claimed a life of such a dear loved one. They are still in the process of making funeral arrangements for Laurence, so this and food is the priority right now.

We are hoping to raise money to help with any of the needs they have. I have set a goal for an amount to raise but of course the more the better as we would love to be able to help in rebuilding their home also as soon as possible.
