We are The Mockingbird London A Cappella Group, a student-led vocal ensemble made up of Hong Kong students studying across different universities in the UK. We are raising funds for our 2026 Annual Concert this May, a project that means a great deal to all of us.

The Mockingbird was formed 17 years ago with a simple goal: to share music and bring people together. For us, this goes beyond just performing. We are passionate about promoting Cantopop in the UK and creating a space where students and members of the community can reconnect with familiar music and culture, even while living far from home.

As a cross-university group, we do not receive funding from any single institution. Every year, we build our concert entirely from scratch: arranging our own music, choreographing performances, writing scripts, and managing all aspects of production ourselves. It takes months of dedication, late-night rehearsals, and a shared commitment from every member.

This year, we hope to take our concert further by creating a more immersive experience, with improved staging, lighting, and production quality. We want to give our audience not just a performance, but a meaningful and memorable night of Cantopop music. However, as students, our resources are limited. The funds raised will go directly towards venue hire, production costs, and technical elements that will help bring this concert to life.
