For years, I’ve poured my energy and creativity into my website, The MN Movie Man, as a way to share my love of movies and connect with fellow film enthusiasts. Each year, keeping the site up and running becomes more challenging as costs for essential features, protections, and tools continue to rise. I do as much as I can myself—coding, updating, and maintaining the site—but there are some programs and services I simply can’t do without. These expenses add up over time, often coming due at unpredictable moments throughout the year.
Your support would allow me to focus on what I love most: writing honest reviews, creating engaging content, and making the site as accessible as possible for everyone. With your help, I can keep The MN Movie Man compatible with the latest technology and ensure it remains a welcoming space for all visitors, including those who rely on screen readers or alternative access tools. This project is a true passion for me, and every bit of encouragement I receive from readers reminds me why I keep going—even when I consider stepping back.
It’s not easy to ask for help, especially for something that means so much to me personally. But knowing that others believe in this creative outlet gives me hope and motivation to continue. If you’re able to contribute, you’ll be helping me keep this project alive and thriving, so I can keep sharing my love of movies with the community.
Any funds raised above my yearly website costs ($900) will go toward my travel expenses for the Toronto International Film Festival in September, helping me bring even more content and experiences to the site. Thank you for considering a donation and for being part of this journey.
