*UPDATE 7/24/24 --
We have been overwhelmed with the generosity of so many friends, family members, and even strangers! To say THANK YOU does not even touch the degree of gratitude we hold in our hearts for each and every one of you. May your blessings given return to you many folds!!
Unfortunately when Jeff passed, he left Corrie with a mountain of unforeseen debt and an empty bank account. Even though Corrie has always worked full time, Jeff had always taken care of the family financials. So it was quite a shock to learn right after his passing that the rent, the electricity, the family cell phone bills and their car insurances were all unpaid. She had to deal with her electricity being shut off a mere 3 days after finding out he was gone.
It was a tough week to say the least.
Thank heavens ✨ for the many family members on both sides who helped with those most pressing and immediate burdens. You are loved and appreciated!
BUT WAIT...there's more!
Shortly after Jeff's passing, Corrie learned her lease was soon coming up and the owner wanted to sell. She has until the end of August to either move out or buy her family's home of over 7 years.
*~*~*THIS IS THE NEW GOAL OF OUR FUNDRAISER!*~*~*
Corrie was back to work only a few days after the funeral and has been diligently saving anything she can. She is working with her bank and mortgage loan officer in an attempt to secure a loan to buy her family's condo on a singular widow's income. This is a monumental step for their family and will bring great stability and peace of mind for what has already been (and will continue to be) probably the most difficult season of all of their lives.
WE WANT ALL OF YOU TO KNOW - your contributions are literally LIFE CHANGING for Corrie, Jason and Zachy. All of these funds will be used for essentials, the bulk of which will go towards the down payment on her purchase. The more she can put down, the better chance she has for getting final loan and purchase approval. This is an exciting, unexpected shift and we fully expect everything to move forward in a positive direction!
Death is brutal. Unexpected death is even worse. But with death comes new life, rebirth and new beginnings. We look forward with open hearts to all the good to come as we move ahead on this journey of life. Gratitude and blessings to all who read this.

6/20/2024 - My name is Michelle and I have known Corrie (Beth) for as long as I can remember. We grew up together. I've watched her children grown into incredible young men and it's been my privilege to call Jeff a true friend, especially over the past several years. I don't think he ever really knew how many people loved and cared for him.
Over the past week I have had a front row seat to watch this family go through probably the hardest thing they will ever face. It has been tragic. It has been painful. But it has also been beautiful. The strength that Corrie, Jason and Zach have shown is remarkable. It's been my great honor to grieve with them, laugh with them, and hold space with them.
With Jeff's passing being so unexpected, they were not prepared for the expenses that unfortunately come with death. And while nothing prepares you for something like this, the added stress of financial burden is just too much. This is why I have decided to start a fundraiser for the Milligan family, to help lessen the logistical hardship of it all.
The Family plans to give Jeff the funeral and burial that he deserves. There will be a service to give friends and family one last chance to pay their respects. Afterwards, Jeff will be laid to rest. It was always Jeff and Corrie's wish to own land together. Now Jeff will finally have his own plot of land to call home - a place to truly be at peace.
I am asking for donations to help off-set the financial burden of the coming months. Any donation amount is greatly appreciated and will help ease the financial stress during an already difficult time. All funds raised will go directly to the Corrie and her children.
