Support the Metler Family

In April of 2019, Ian was diagnosed with a rare form of stomach cancer. On March 20th, after 6 long years fighting with every ounce of strength, determination and sacrifice he could muster, Ian succumbed and passed peacefully surrounded by his family and friends. Ian loved his people and his community deeply loved Ian and his beautiful family. As a strong community does, we step in to help fill the void and surround Maria and the kids with all our love and support to ease the heartache as they navigate this new life without Ian. We continue to support them through meal deliveries, firewood collection, friendship and financial donation so they can focus on healing. They have expressed deep, deep gratitude to all and are so humbled by the generosity of everyone. Please continue to lift them up and keep them in your thoughts.

Planning is in the works to host a community celebration later this spring/summer to honor Ian's life and memory.
