On Thursday, November 16, Ross was riding his motorcycle back from Tel Aviv after a visit with his best friend. On the climb up the road from Beit Shemesh, a car drove fast and crossed over to Ross's lane. Ross, with his incredible instincts, moved as far as he could from the car. Unfortunately, his left foot hit the car and he flew off his bike. The direct hit from the car caused him to lose his left leg below the knee, but thank GD he was alert and clear and is "completely himself". The family is "grateful, shocked, scared, and hurting" but determined and know with full faith that this is a new journey that they will tackle together. In Ilana's words:" The only possible end is Ross walking the kids to the park one day, proud and loving dad as he is!!!"

Despite the family being strong and having complete faith that great things will happen, there will undoubtedly be challenges ahead and bills they will need to pay.
