On August 27, 2005 we were blessed with a beautiful baby boy. Full of energy he always had a smile on his face. He made friends with adults and other children alike. As he grew up Matthew loved going camping, helping his grandpa, and loved spending time with his three younger siblings. As he got older he had some struggles in school and with his mental health which he battled with the love and support of his family.
On Saturday, March 23, 2019 Rebecca found her son, Matthew, on his bed in his room with several empty bottles of medication. Immediately 911 was called and Matthew was brought to Children's Hospital in Saint Paul where immediately they started to get the medications out of his system. They soon realized he needed more help than they could give him and put him on life support and transferred him to the PICU at Children’s in Minneapolis. On Tuesday morning the doctors determined Matthew no longer had any brain activity. Matthew lost the battle and was removed from life support on Wednesday, March 27.
Please help his family in your thoughts and prayers and if you are able, contribute to funeral expenses and medical bills.
With love.
