Support the McMahon Family After Devastating Damage
Donation protected

This is Nan, I'm resident of Sierra Madre, and friends with McMahon family for last 3years, and Fischer is a classmate of my daughter Rhea in 2nd grade at Sierra Madre Elementary School. The McMahon is facing a challenging and heartbreaking situation. Just before evacuating due to the Eaton Fire, a large pine tree fell on their home in Altadena, causing extensive damage to their living room, ceiling, and walls. Thankfully, no one was hurt, and they were able to evacuate safely.
While their house miraculously survived the fire, the damage from the tree and the ongoing evacuation have left them unable to fully assess the situation. Early estimates suggest repairs will cost at least $15,000. Currently, they are staying at a hotel in Glendale, grateful for the community donation sites that have provided essentials like clothing and toiletries.
The McMahons are navigating a wave of emotions as they process what has happened to their family and grieve alongside friends and neighbors who have lost so much. Like many in the area, they don’t yet know when they will be allowed to return home and are taking things day by day.
This GoFundMe has been created to help the McMahon family cover the costs of repairs, which is NOT covered by their insurance and FEMA and provide some relief during this difficult time. Any contribution, big or small, will make a meaningful difference in helping them rebuild their home and their lives.
Thank you for your kindness and generosity. Together, we can show the McMahon family that they are not alone in this journey.
