Hey everyone, my name is Marty Hart, unfortunately our good family friends, the, McGee's lost their father/father-in-law suddenly on 3/13/25. Due to the sudden passing their family is in need of financial support to help lay their loved one to rest. Unfortunately, he had no medical insurance or life insurance plan, so the family members will be bearing the costs.
Mr. James Darwin McGee, age 63, of Maysville, GA died Thursday, March 13, 2025 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center, Gainesville. Mr. McGee was born in Athens to James McGee of Ila and the late Barbara Beatenbo McGee. He was self-employed as a carpenter.
In addition to his father, Mr. McGee is survived by his daughters, Michaela McGee (Jimmy) of Maysville and Melissa Looney (Paul) of Ila; son, Joshua McGee (Sarah) of Ila; sister, Delores Wells (Greg) of Maysville; and seven grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 11 AM, Saturday, March 15 at Providence Baptist Church with Rev. Terry Smith officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 5 to 8 PM.
Little-Ward Funeral Home, Commerce is in charge of arrangements.
