On December 12, 2025, Katie, Garrett, and Cassidy McClung lost their beloved father, Dean Scott McClung Sr.

Dean was a veteran, an avid bowler and a devoted father who passed peacefully in his sleep. His children remember him not only for his incredible bowling achievements but also for the many adventures they shared together, especially the times spent on the road while Dean worked as a truck driver. Dean had a special bond with each of his children, affectionately calling them Katie-bear, Pookie-bear, and Cassi-bear. He was known for his vivid imagination, often making up bedtime stories about Hookie and Dookie Bears that brought joy and laughter to his daughters. These cherished memories are a testament to the love and warmth he brought into their lives.

The family is now facing the unexpected costs of funeral and memorial arrangements, as well as the challenge of bringing a sibling in from out of state to say goodbye. Any support you can offer will help ease the financial burden on the McClung family during this difficult time, allowing them to honor their father's memory and come together as a family.
