Support the McAvoy Family in Their Time of Need

Hi all, my name is Kodie. I am a close family friend to the McAvoy's. In support of this difficult time for the McAvoy's I am creating this gofundme to help them through the coming weeks.

On June 29th their sweet Salem girl was playing with big sis Addi and slip and fell which resulted in a break above the elbow. They took Salem in and thankfully no surgery as of now is required although Salem will need to get a cast placed in the coming weeks.

On June 30th they had Addi's tonsillectomy scheduled. Paul took the day off to be there for Mikki and the girls, and make sure Addi had a smooth procedure. Addi currently is healing well.

On July 1st at 12:15pm Mikki received every wife's worst nightmare call. Paul was being hauled away by ambulance after being found down at work in seizure. By the time they got him to the hospital, he had stopped seizing although once transfer of care happened, he went back into seizure. Paul was in seizure for at minimum of 30 minutes base off the physician's findings. At this time they intubated him and started doing testing to figure out what was causing the seizures. During his time seizing he had vomited which lead to aspiration. At this time we are unsure of what the outcome will be Paul. We do not know how long of an ICU stay he is looking at.

What we do know is that the physicians have stated Paul will not be able to drive for at minimum 6 months to 1 year,

He will be in the ICU for the next several days and he currently has no diagnoses.

Paul is the breadwinner for his family. With multiple unexpected medical incidents happening so close together for the McAvoy's along with unknown length of the ICU stay, the ambulance transport, the inability of Paul to dirve for at least 6 months and currently no return to work date they are going to be facing a lot of financial challenges.

With the series of events that have occurred over the last 4 days the McAvoy's need support. So we ask whether it's a share, $1, $5 or more whatever you may have within your means to support them during this time we ask that you please consider it.

We will be providing updates as Paul's care plan changes and we learn more about the medical journey that the McAvoy's are unfortunately embarking on.
