Hi,

My name is Tash and I'm asking you to open your heart and donate to Matt and his beautiful family. Matt and Jo have been married for almost 20 years. They have three beautiful children together: Hannah (14), Caleb (14) and Zachariah (6).

Matt has had a difficult couple of years, suffering a stroke in December 2022. He ended up spending 3 months in rehabilitation. He worked extrememly hard, pushing through to make it home to his family. He progressed so well in his recovery that he was independent in doing most things. One of his favourite things to do was walk his youngest son to school every morning.

Unfortunately, Matt had a fall and sustained a catastrophic brain bleed. His family was told that he will not recover, leaving them heart broken. Matt passed away peacefully on Friday the 2nd August.

His beautiful wife Jo, is the most selfless person I know. Even on her darkest day she is thinking of others. For the past 18 months, she has been the sole income earner for the family, working extra shifts to make ends meet. Jo is a Paediatric ICU Nurse, dedicating over 18 years caring for critical unwell children and their families. Now she finds herself on the other side of the bed, talking and comforting her husband as well as trying to explain to her kids that their dad will not be coming home.

I am reaching out to ask if you could please donate to help provide some financial support to this family. To cover their ongoing expenses as well as funeral costs. They would never ask for anything, hence Im asking on their behalf.
