Support Landon Masters’ Medical Journey

 

The Backstory:

After being taken to the ER following a car accident in 2020, the hospital radiology team found an abnormality with Landon that was unrelated to the crash. In the months following, Landon was diagnosed with an Abernethy Type 1B Malformation. This diagnosis represents an extremely rare congenital malformation of the liver. For over a year now, Landon has been incredibly positive despite the increasing number of physician consultations, testing, and imaging appointments.

 

Treatment and Next Steps:

We are learning more as his medical condition and associated concerns come into clarity and his condition advances. Landon's treatments may change based off new information, however a liver transplant is anticipated at this time. With the continued increase in frequency of appointments at the Cleveland Clinic, an expedited relocation from Michigan to Ohio is necessary.

 

Donations and Fundraising:

All money donated and raised will go to Landon's dad (Alex Masters) to help with medical expenses and anything deemed necessary for the welfare of Landon.
