I will be running a Marathon (Oct 17th) to raise funds to support the education, health care, employment and empowerment of the marginalized and the vulnerable. The funds raised will be split equally and go towards supporting the following 3 organizations.

 

Child Haven International (https://childhaven.ca) - Assists children and women in India, Nepal and Bangladesh, who are in need of food, education, health care, shelter and clothing, emotional and moral support.

 

 

 

 

India Rural Health (https://indiaruralhealth.com) - Is a telemedicine team committed to the most marginalized (Dalits and Indigenous/Adivasis) families of rural India. The team works in communities where not even basic medical services have penetrated.

 

 

 

 

New Opportunities for Wounded, Widows and Orphans of War (http://www.nowwow.org) - Working to restore semblance of normalcy in the Tamil (ethnic minority) communities of North and East of Sri Lanka ravaged by the nearly three decades long civil war. The organization assists children and women by undertaking projects in education, employment, empowerment and emergency relief services.
