Support the Mann Family's Fight Against Cancer
Donation protected
In the fire service, we pride ourselves on being a family, bound not just by the work we do but by the care and support we offer each other in times of need. Today, I am reaching out on behalf of one of our family members. The funds collected here will benefit Andy and Crissy Mann as well as their two young children. Andy is a local Firefighter/Paramedic and Crissy is the director of Goddard School in South Reno.
On December 4th, Crissy Mann went to the hospital and was diagnosed with a brain tumor and multiple nodules on her lungs. On December 9th she underwent surgery to have the tumor removed and after pathology came back she was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic melanoma. Once the staples are removed from the incision she will start the long process of treatment which will include radiation and immunotherapy. She has a long road to recovery which will keep her out of work. This will also hopefully include going to a speciality center in Houston. Crissy is incredibly strong and will continue to fight this battle.
As they face the long road ahead, filled with intensive treatments and extensive travel, the financial burden on their family will be significant. This is where our community can make a meaningful difference. I humbly ask for your generosity.
Your support, no matter the size, will not only help their financial stress but also serve as a reminder that they are not alone in this fight. Thank you for your time, compassion, and willingness to help.
With gratitude,
Everyone who loves the Mann Family
