Help the Malikzada Family with burial costs to Lay Their Baby to Rest!

Dear friends and kind-hearted community members,

We are heartbroken to share the tragic story of Hussain Malekzada, a sweet baby boy just 17 months old, born on February 6, 2024. From the moment he came into this world, little Hussain faced serious medical challenges. He spent much of his short life in and out of Wolfson Children’s Hospital, being fed through a medical device due to his condition.

Yesterday, during lunchtime, Hussain suffered cardiac arrest and was rushed to the hospital. Doctors have sadly informed the family that he has suffered brain death, and his internal organs have shut down.

The Malikzada family—originally from Afghanistan—arrived in the United States about a year ago and currently live in Jacksonville, Florida. The father, Jawid Malekzada, is struggling to find stable work and cannot afford the overwhelming costs of burial. Until now, they’ve been surviving with the help of local organizations and kind community support.

Hussain was the youngest of seven children—with three brothers and three sisters. This tragedy has devastated the entire family, both emotionally and financially.

We are reaching out with humble hearts to ask for your support in covering the funeral and burial costs for baby Hussain. No family should have to face this heartbreak alone.
