Support for the Sandovals after tragic fire
Donation protected
We are establishing this fund for our friends, Christina and Gustavo Sandoval, who are long-time residents of Patterson, California.
On the night of April 17, 2025, a fire broke out on a property adjacent to theirs, which spread to their barn, resulting in the horrific deaths of 7 of their male Andalusian horses and a total loss of their barn. One horse was rescued that night, but unfortunately, passed away the next day from internal injuries. Thankfully, many of the other horses were out in pasture, which saved their lives.
They now have to deal with not only the devastating loss of their horses but also have to rebuild their barn and replace all of the tack and feed that was lost in the fire.
Their horses were not only beloved family pets, but had been part of many community events in Patterson, parades, etc. Their loss is heartbreaking.
We’re hoping that any funds raised can go towards rebuilding the barn, replacing tack, and maybe even be able to purchase a few horses, to help ease the heartache of the ones that were lost.
Any amount, large or small, would be so very appreciated, and if a monetary donation isn’t feasible, just sharing the link would be just as meaningful.
Sincerely,
