Hi, my name is Enhe and I am currently studying at Harrow School. Since July, 2021, I have had the chance to visit Vézelay 5 times. « La colline éternelle » is located in Burgundy, France. Whilst there I attended presentations, workshops and guided tours organized by la Maison du Visiteur. La Maison du Visiteur is a cultural association dedicated to heritage mediation in Vézelay. Through the programmes, I found myself drawn deeper into the beauty as well as the extraordinary historical, architectural, artistic and spiritual wealth of the Basilica of Vézelay, a 12th-century Romanesque masterpiece and Unesco World Heritage Site since 1979. I am fundraising to support la Maison du Visiteur in the hope that more young people like me will be inspired to preserve, appreciate and promote our cultural heritage.
