Support the Macy Family: In Memory of Chris Macy

Dear Friends and Community,

It is with heavy hearts that we share the sudden and tragic passing of Chris Macy, a beloved husband, father, and friend. Chris left us far too soon, leaving behind his devoted wife and three beautiful daughters, Harper (15), Beckett (10), and Austen (7). In lieu of flowers, we are asking for donations to help secure the future for his daughters, who now face a world without their father's guiding hand.

Harper (15) is entering her junior year at Millikan High School with aspirations to join the health and beauty industry. Recently, she became scuba certified and shared a memorable scuba trip with her dad and uncle in Florida. As she looks forward to her 16th birthday in September, Harper is also working towards earning her lifeguard certification, a testament to her adventurous spirit and love for the water, just like her dad.

Beckett (10), about to start her final year at Cubberley K-8, mirrors her father's versatile talents. She enjoys scouting, swimming, snorkeling, sailing, theatre, piano, and performing arts. Her diverse interests and boundless energy reflect the vibrant and multifaceted spirit Chris instilled in her.

Austen (7) is excited to return to school and reconnect with her friends. With a deep affection for animals, especially her dog Otto, she dreams of becoming a veterinarian. Her tender heart and nurturing nature are a direct legacy of Chris's loving and adventurous soul.

Chris Macy was more than just a father and husband; he was a passionate sailor who shared his love for the water with his daughters and the community. As a dedicated Sea Scout leader, he patiently taught countless children the joys of sailing and the values of perseverance and courage. Chris's legacy lives on in the hearts of those he touched, and his absence leaves a void that words cannot fill.

Now, in this time of unimaginable loss, we have the opportunity to step up and support his family. Chris can no longer provide for his daughters, but together, we can help ensure they have the bright future he dreamed for them. Your generous contributions will go towards their education, extracurricular activities, and any unforeseen needs they may encounter as they navigate this difficult time without their father.
