Aloha,
We are Nannette and Jasmine Lucero, born and raised in Haleʻiwa. Our family recently experienced a devastating loss when our generational home was severely impacted by the flash flooding caused by the Kona Low storm that affected Haleʻiwa and Waialua.
Living in an area where flood waters rose to dangerous levels, our home was overtaken, resulting in the loss of nearly all of our belongings. The place that has held generations of memories and deep family roots was submerged, leaving it unsafe and uninhabitable.
We are doing everything we can to support one another during this incredibly difficult time, but the cost of restoring our home to a safe and livable condition is overwhelming. The funds raised will go directly toward urgent cleanup, essential repairs, replacing lost items, and rebuilding efforts to make the home structurally sound once again. Every contribution, no matter the amount, helps bring us closer to restoring safety and stability.
We ask for your support during this challenging time for our ʻohana. If you are able to donate, we would be deeply grateful. If not, sharing our story would mean just as much to us.
Thank you for your kindness, your prayers, and your generosity. Your support truly makes a difference, and our family is deeply thankful.
Mahalo,
Nannette and Jasmine Lucero
