Hey everyone,

This November, I’ll be running the Malibu Half Marathon as part of my journey to become an Iron Phi with my fraternity, Phi Delta Theta. I’m proud to be a member of the California State University, Northridge chapter (Bond #1226).

To earn the title of Iron Phi, I need to raise $1,000 for the Live Like Lou Foundation, an incredible organization dedicated to supporting families affected by ALS (Lou Gehrig’s disease) and funding vital research to find a cure.

The Live Like Lou Foundation honors the legacy of baseball legend and Phi Delt brother Lou Gehrig, who showed immense strength and perseverance while battling ALS. The foundation’s mission is to:

• Support ALS families through financial assistance and care programs.

• Fund critical research aimed at discovering effective treatments and ultimately a cure.

• Inspire others to “Live Like Lou” — with courage, humility, and compassion.
