Hello friends, family, and kind-hearted humans,
We are reaching out on behalf of a beautiful, loving family navigating one of the most challenging times of their lives. David and Stacey Liebherr are the proud parents of three young children—loving, four-year-old big sister Lacey and sweet one-year-old brother Cody—and now the arrival of their baby boy, Jordan.
Tragically, baby Jordan's pregnancy took a dangerous and life-threatening turn.
At just 25 weeks, Stacey experienced premature rupture of membranes—her water broke far too early. She was admitted to the hospital indefinitely to protect her unborn baby and was soon diagnosed with placenta percreta, a rare and serious condition in which the placenta grows too deeply into the uterine wall and surrounding organs. This condition carried extreme risks for both Stacey and baby Jordan.
On June 4th at 10:16 am, baby Jordan was born weighing 2 lbs 5 oz and measuring 13.58 inches long. His arrival was nothing short of a miracle.
To bring sweet Jordan into this world, Stacey required over six hours of emergency surgery, during which she endured the removal of part of her bladder, a full hysterectomy, and received 11 blood transfusions to save her life.
Despite the severity of their medical emergencies, both Stacey and baby Jordan are now stable. However, this is just the beginning of a long road to recovery and healing.
Why This Family Is In Need Of Help:
This high-risk pregnancy and traumatic delivery have placed an overwhelming emotional and financial burden on the Liebherr family. The costs associated with:
Emergency, high-risk cesarean delivery
Multiple surgeries and postpartum care
NICU care for a premature infant
Extended time off work to support mom, care for the other children, and remain near the hospital
Travel, lodging, and childcare expenses
...are more than any one family should have to manage alone.
How You Can Help:
Any amount—large or small—makes a difference. Whether it’s a one-time gift or ongoing support, your generosity will go directly toward:
Medical bills and insurance gaps
NICU and postpartum recovery expenses
Travel and lodging near the hospital
Childcare and household needs
Lost income during this critical time
Essentials for baby Jordan’s fragile early life
