This past Monday night, an electrical fire destroyed the home of the Licata family. Luckily, they evacuated the house and everyone is safe including Florence, Joe, Isabella, Joseph, and their dog Milo. The rapid response of Point Lookout, Amityville, North Amityville, Hicksville, Bethpage, Farmingdale, and East Farmingdale Fire Departments is immensely appreciated and their bravery was vital to controlling the fire. Even with their tremendous work, it is unfortunate to learn that the entirety of the family’s bedrooms were destroyed in this fire. Our support for the Licata family during this time is only a reflection of their kindness and prevalence in the Farmingdale community and as beloved family and friends.
