*UPDATE* from the Lewis family,

A week ago, Angela was rushed to the hospital a life‑threatening blood clot in her left leg which also caused internal bleeding. The ER team performed emergency surgery and saved her life. The doctors say her condition was extremely rare due to the bleeding and the clot simultaneously happening. Angela was under careful monitoring in the ICU for 5 days and was then released to go home after a week of being at the hospital. We’re grateful beyond words for the medical team caring for her.

As Angela heals, we’re facing medical bills and a temporary reduction in income while I step back to care for her and our three children. Many of you have asked how to help. This page is our family’s way to humbly accept that help.
