On the afternoon of Saturday, August 16th, Rebecca Leishman was killed by a drunk driver in Logan, Utah. She was walking to her vehicle in the parking lot of a local store when she was struck by a car. The impact caused severe head trauma and other injuries. She was taken to Logan Hospital and then rushed by Life Flight to McKay Dee Hospital in Ogden for emergency surgery. Unfortunately, Rebecca's injuries were too severe and she passed away surrounded by her husband, children, grandchildren, and other family and friends.

Rebecca leaves a massive void in her family and community. She is the mother of six children and three grandchildren; one born only a few months ago. She worked at a local elementary school and was always the first to stand up when others needed help. The proceeds of this GoFundMe will go to help the family pay for medical bills and funeral expenses and to help replace lost income.
