Support the Legal Dream of a Non-Traditional Student
Donation protected
I am a non-traditional student back in school at the age of 48 in order to get a law degree. I am three years into my undergraduate degree and have a 3.9 GPA. I was injured in 2018 and can no longer do the physical jobs I once did and as a result, I have been struggling to afford school costs and make ends meet.
Student aid only goes so far and finding work that can make up the difference has been a challenge, even though I do what work I can find. I am currently working for a lawyer in private practice and getting what hours I can, but it is short of what is needed to keep afloat.
Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated. Even the smallest amount helps. And perhaps I can provide legal services for you in the future
My focus for law is labor, constitutional, and civil rights. I hope to be a force for good once I have my JD and pass the bar. But getting there is going to take any help I can get. We can’t change the world alone and I intend to give back far more than I receive.
Thank you for your consideration and any help you can provide.
