Support the Legacy of Hannibal Collins

My name is Victor Fiorillo, and I am raising these funds on behalf of my longtime friend, veteran Philadelphia journalist Bobbi Booker, whose son Hannibal passed away unexpectedly on September 7th.

Hannibal Collins was a son, brother, friend, cat parent, game designer, store manager, lover, and explorer. He lived a vibrant life filled with curiosity, creativity, and connection. But alongside his many passions, Hannibal carried a heavy burden—he struggled with Sickle Cell Anemia, a hereditary blood disorder that causes severe pain and complications for its carriers.

At just 37 years old, Hannibal’s lifelong battle with Sickle Cell Anemia came to a tragic end when he was found after a recent pain crisis episode. His sudden passing has left his family and friends devastated, facing both the weight of grief and the unexpected costs of laying him to rest.

We are asking for your support during this painful time. Your contributions will help cover funeral expenses and allow us to celebrate Hannibal’s life with dignity. In his honor, a portion of the funds beyond funeral costs will be donated to the Sickle Cell Disease Association: Philadelphia/Delaware (SCDAA/PDVC), to support others who are still fighting this difficult condition.

Hannibal’s legacy is one of love, creativity, and resilience. By donating, you not only help us honor him, but also ensure that his story continues to make an impact in the lives of others.

Thank you for standing with us in this moment of sorrow and remembrance.

Please donate what you can, and share this campaign with others who knew and loved Hannibal.
