In the early hours of Thursday, February 13th, a fierce fire tore through 89-28 70th Avenue, the long-time home of the Lee family. Fortunately, Mrs. Lee was the only one home and was able to escape her home with minor smoke inhalation. However, the Lee family has lost everything to this vicious fire. The 70th Avenue community has always been a strong one. Not only will your donation to this fund help the Lee family get back on their feet, but it will also serve to remind them that they are not alone and have the strength and support of our wonderful block and its families behind them.
