As I celebrate my birthday this year, I’m choosing to give back instead of receiving gifts. I’m asking for donations to support The Learning Gardens, a nonprofit that transforms the lives of neurodiverse learners. I started this nonprofit because I saw the impact that cognitive educational therapy made in my son's life. Cognitive educational therapy helped him go from struggling to read to graduating from high school and then culinary school and now he works as a chef at a local Country Club!
