Supporting the Le Gall Family

The Le Gall family, our dear friends, Cedric, Katy, Milla and Elodie are facing a situation that no one should ever have to.

Cedric has been fighting brain cancer for 18 years. As a team and a family they have conquered it all together, and many years of aggressive cancer treatment held the tumours stable for a long time. Then over 1.5 years ago a new brain tumour caused him to lose the function of his memory which had a big impact on his day to day life, and took away his ability to work as a carpenter, a job he loved. Katy has continued to work and care for Ced but as his health declines, his care needs are increasing. She can be stoic, sometimes stubborn and doesn't accept help easily. She prefers to keep working, keep going, do things herself and not put others out.

We'd like to acknowledge the incredible support already and continually given by those that care for the Le Gall family. Friends and family have provided meals, lifts and taxi service (especially when Katy couldn't drive) and unwavering support, whether in person, by phone or on social media. We know Ced and Katy are so grateful for this and it means the world to them. We felt it was time to create this page to assist them with their financial situation, take some of the load off and allow them more freedom to spend time together without worrying so much about these things.

Cedric, Katy and the girls are loved by so many many and supported by a fierce network of fantastic humans, family and friends.
