Support the Lawton Family After Tragic Loss

With heavy hearts, we share the devastating news of the passing of Ian Lawton, beloved son of Jeromy and Karyn Lawton and cherished brother to Devin, Kaleb, and Christian. Ian tragically lost his life in a swimming accident on June 25, 2025 at just 16 years old.

Ian was a bright light to all who knew him—kind, joyful, and full of promise. Ian had a compassionate heart and was always ready to help others. He loved spending time with children, photography, and playing video games with his brothers. He was an active member of the Central Church of Christ youth group. Above all, he was a loving son and brother and will be dearly missed by his family.

This unimaginable loss has left Jeromy, Karyn, and their boys heartbroken. As they navigate this time of profound grief, we want to offer support to help ease the financial burdens. This GoFundMe has been set up to assist the Lawton family with funeral expenses, time away from work, counseling, and any other needs they may encounter in the days ahead. Any excess funds will be donated to Operation Christmas Child at his home church. Students will be packing boxes in his memory.
