Support the Lawrence Family After Fire Loss
Donation protected
The Lawrence family is very thankful for all the donations that have come in so far. Mom has been connected with Annie’s Closet for clothing, shoes, and jackets. They are actively looking for housing so they can get out of the emergency housing they are currently in. They are looking for a 3 br 1 Ba in Norwood. If you hear of anything please let us know and we’ll pass it on!

The Lawrence family is one of the families that lost everything in a devastating fire on December 2nd on Melville Ave. The family has two children in NPS (Callahan and Norwood High School) and one at a specialized school for neurodiverse students.
This GoFundMe is being set up to help raise funds to replace additional items that were lost that cannot be covered by gift cards, as well as raise money to cover first, last, and security deposit on a new apartment once found. As you can imagine, losing everything can be extremely overwhelming, and community support can go a long way.
Since they are in temporary housing, they don’t have space to store a lot of physical donations or new furniture at this point. Additional resources such as New Life Furniture, clothing donations, etc., will be accessed in the coming months. Gift card donations are also being collected at the main office at Norwood High School for both families. This fundraiser will help cover costs of things that cannot be purchased with those funds.
I have been in touch with the Lawrence family and any assistance you can provide at this time is greatly appreciated.
