Over the last couple of years, many of you have seen me pour my energy into planning gatherings, hosting events, and helping loved ones bring their ideas to life. In 2025 alone, I somehow became the unofficial event planner for four Greer family wedding and wedding-related events — two of which I was also the bride (zilla?) .
Instead of renting supplies, my wife Diana and I bought nearly everything we used, and I fell in love with the process of building an inventory and making spaces feel intentional and alive. What started organically has grown into a real business opportunity. I’m nervous, excited, and — for the first time in a long time — genuinely energized about my professional future.
I’m launching a venue-specific event rental and planning business focused on thoughtfully curated tabletop items, lighting, and decor for special/unique gatherings.
Right now, I’m in a moment where I need support to get this business fully off the ground — developing inventory, coordinating with potential partners, and creating a compelling website. I’m sharing this fundraiser with close family, friends, and community to ask for help with startup costs so I can move forward without taking on more debt.
My goal is to raise $10,000 to cover:
- Completing my inventory
- Business insurance and required startup costs
- Storage, upkeep, and transport of inventory
- Labor
- Basic living expenses while I stabilize income
This support would give me the breathing room I need to build something sustainable.
